I’ve been writing since I was a kid, but I have only recently begun to push my work out into the (publishing) world.  I’d categorize my work into three groups:

  • Digital Humanities Projects – A convergence of my interest in design, writing, and how readers can interact with text through a digital medium.  Check out my parallax scrolling stories in “Beyond the Margins”.
  • Podcast – With my childhood friend, I started a 90s nostalgia podcast called 3-Way Call where we reflect on the cultural inflection points of our childhood from a queer lens.
  • Short Stories and Creative Non-Fiction – If you’re into just pen and paper my work has been an Honorable Mention for Glimmer Train’s 2014 Short Story Award for New Writers Contest, published in the anthology “I Am Vietnamese,” and the selected by New Rivers Press and Pulitzer Prize winning author, Elizabeth Strout for the 2014 American Fiction Short Story Prize.
  • Commentary – Most of my writing life is spent experiencing, observing, and then writing.  Check out my favorite pieces of commentary on this website.
